Alison Wonderland and Lido Swap Remixes of ‘Crazy’ and ‘Messiah’

This is not the first time Australian music producer Alison Wonderland and the multi-faceted Lido have collaborated. The tandem worked together on “Already Gone”, one of Alison Wonderland’s career highlight tracks on her 2015 debut album ‘Run.’ At the end of 2016, fans of the two were blessed with a collaborative set at the famed Los Angeles club Brownies & Lemonade where they previewed each other's remixes to the lucky few who were in attendance. The extremely close friendship of the two is obvious, as they frequently upload videos hanging out and working together, meaning that the two of them unleashing their own spins on each other’s newest hits shouldn’t come as a surprise,

Lido, a Norwegian music prodigy that already has producing credits with Chance The Rapper and Halsey on his resume, hijacks Alison Wonderland’s ‘Messiah’ and gives the song his own soaring vocals that have helped build him his cult following. Lido keeps the chorus to Messiah relatively untouched, but rewrites his own lyrics for the verses - yet another showcase of his enormous ceiling. Alison Wonderland gives a future bass take on Lido’s ‘Crazy,’ one that should be highly anticipated to be heard on the upcoming festival season. Alison Wonderland’s previous orchestral experience can certainly be felt here, as the strings definitely give the song her own twist. Wonderland has been in the studio working on her second album, and if this remix (along with ‘Messiah’) are any example of what’s to come, then she certainly should be an artist to keep an eye on. Any future Lido and Alison Wonderland collaborations definitely wouldn’t kill anybody, either.
