Louis The Child release Chance the Rapper remix, Announces fall tour
Chicago duo Louis The Child have had quite the year. Not only did their 2017 EP “Love is Alive” chart extremely well, it was also met with plenty of critical praise. With summer festival performances at Outsidelands, Lollapalooza, and our very own Global Dance Festival already in the bag, the two young men are set to take their talents on the road for even more this fall. The “Last to Leave Tour” features stops all across the country, featuring support from the likes of Win and Woo, Prince Fox, Lauv, among many others. The tour officially kicks off in Austin for their festival performance at Austin City Limits, and wraps up with four consecutive days in California with the final stop in Hollywood.
Along with the tour announcement came with a remix of fellow Chicagoan Chance The Rapper’s song “All Night.” Louis The Child couples their signature future bass and hip hop beats along with Chance The Rapper’s unique sound to make a Chicago-gasm of excellence. Both electronic music fans and hip hop fans will be happy with this remix and it certainly is one of Louis the Child’s best inputs this far. It feels as if everybody has been bracing for Louis the Child explosion into electronic music’s forefront, and with this massive tour announcement and remix, we can all begin bracing yet again. The two Chicago prodigies have yet another hit on their hands, and we can’t wait to see what else is to come from this exciting group.
